Growth Mindset Co. developed and pitched the concept of adding an activity centre to the YWHO Sarnia-Lambton leadership council then secured the funding for the project through the Mike Weir Foundation in 2022. INSTEAD OF PERFORMANCE WE PRIORITIZE PLAY

Sometimes it is important to celebrate just by showing up. At Weir Active we don’t count sets and reps, instead, we will work on listening to what our body needs at any given moment. Research tells us that play is important as we develop.

Weir Active is not your typical fitness centre

INSTEAD OF BODY METRICS, WE FOCUS ON ENERGY AND MOOD

Isn’t the point of getting active to feel better? Our energy levels and mood can be our biggest indicators of well-being. It Isn’t about feeling great everyday as much as it is about feeling a little better than you did when you walked in.
